A successful planning application was submitted by PD Architecture to Gedling Borough Council for this stunning new single storey contemporary home in Nottingham. Built by Icon Homes, the property is now owned by a lovely couple who have recently engaged us to create a glazed courtyard roof incorporating transparent PV glazing to provide an on-site electricity generation provision that will provide free electricity for the property. The installation will also include an immersion switch that will be activated when excess electricity is being created to allow the hot water tank to be heated by the immersion heater, and so also saving on gas consumption.
