One of our signature projects!  This Eco-Home Extension in Ravenshead, Nottingham featured in the 2013 Self Build and Design Magazine.

Architectural Design Brief:

The brief was to replace the existing conservatory and provide a two storey extension.  Internally, an additional bedroom with en-suite was provided, along with a new Living Room on the ground floor.

Green technologies and passive design principles were adopted to maximise the properties energy efficiency rating.

The exposed oak detailing suggests an oak framed building, but the actual construction of the building was a standard cavity wall with selected oak beams/columns detailed to provide the ‘wow’ factor whilst keeping the budget modest.
