Some of the green technologies introduced (and cutting edge at the time in 2009 when they were on our drawing board) included Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV Panels, Rainwater Harvesting, MHRV and heat recovery from the stove.

The green technologies were then further supplemented by efficient underfloor heating installations to both ground and first floors as well as a high thermal mass to keep the internal environment a consistent temperature whilst using the least energy possible.
