PLANNING APPROVAL: WEST BRIDGFORD 

We are delighted to have received the grant of planning approval for another new build home scheme.  In this case, the site in West Bridgford, and is on a secluded plot tucked behind the main street scene with the property being designed to mimic an old barn outbuilding.  Accordingly, the proposed design for the external envelope utilises black timber cladding, a red brick plinth, oak posts and detailing – all providing a vibrant contrast of materials, textures and colour to give a truly traditional and lively feel to the proposed build.

Previously approved by Rushcliffe Borough Council in 2020, the timescale for the approval was due to run out shortly, so it was a pleasure to be able to renew the approval for our developer client.

Designed by Paul Day BSc (Hons) MCIAT of PD Architecture the proposed project creates a new five bedroom dwelling, with the ground floor plan explicitly developed to ensure all the living accommodation, (including the open plan Kitchen) open up into the private rear secluded garden to give that perfect connection to the outside spaces from all the properties living spaces.
