PLANNING DRAWINGS IN NEWTOWN LINFORD:

A resubmission of the planning drawings for this fantastic Home Extension in Newtown Linford, Leicester. The homeowner is looking to make a few tweaks to the design to reduce costs before the works start on site, requiring a new non-material amendment planning application to regularise the alterations.

Removing the previously panned feature window and vaulted ceiling, (we have to work to a budget), the new designs for the new bedroom window sit sympathetically alongside the existing apertures to good effect.

Materials have been particularly important on this project.  The homeowner in this case has been able to secure a quantity of reclaimed Swithland Slate, (which is no longer quarried), to ensure the roof remains in keeping with the locality.  In addition to this we have used randomly coursed Charnwood Forest Granite and buff brickwork to match the existing property, whilst using oak detailing around the new feature entrance to make the entrance stand out and add that extra ‘wow’ factor with added kerb appeal.

Having gained planning permission previously, we look forward to getting the changes regularised and getting on site with this project.
