Architectural Blog:
So is Artificial Intelligence (AI) any use for creating photo-realistic images?
The short answer is yes, but the honest answer in our experience is, maybe only sometimes.
We have a number of projects for varying reasons that never made it off the drawing board. Whether that was due to a lack of funds, the site being sold to another developer, difficulties with the planning office or any number of factors. So, we have a number of designs we thought we could ‘test’ AI with, and see if the results were successful.
Our first test, we think you will agree, has been quite successful. There are a few imperfections, but using a previously sketched 3D image (created in Sketch Up), and a quick prompt, this AI image certainly hits the mark. Needless to say, using AI, it was a lot quicker than creating and rendering a detailed 3D model.
